Default dewitt radiator on 84

Hey all,

Looking at the Dewitt double row radiator to improve my cooling while idling in hot Florida summer . Current radiator is 20 years old anyway and time to replace it, might as well get something good.

The website says "First design AC condensers used on 1984 & early 1985 models will have to be upgraded to allow clearance for the thicker radiator."

Anyone know how to check if the original AC condenser is there? My AC was upgraded before I bought it years and years ago, but not sure if this was also done.

Thanks

The upper shroud on the radiator can be unbolted. If it was upgraded you would have a thin dual pass unit. Otherwise it'll be a big thick tube and fin unit. Unless specified it was changed, it may be original.

Awesome, thank you for the fast reply. I will try and get the shroud off this weekend and grab some pictures future reference.
