Default Late 86 code 33 & 44

Hello all, so Ive been stumped for a while on this problem. I got a code 33 (MAF SENSOR OR CIRCUIT TOO HIGH) and 44 (LEAN EXHAUST) and as we do Im starting from the code most foward of the engine (33). I got shipped out of the country for three months and while I was gone i sent my car to a shop to get the power steering pump replaced. When I got the car back I got code 33 and 44 and it ran like crap and wanted to stall. I have no idea how a power steering pump replacement could cause this. Car also takes three times the amount of time it used to to crank and start.
My car came with a bbk 52 mm throttle body, adjustable holley fuel pressure regulator, and hypertech chip when I bought it. I thought maybe these could be the problem so I sourced a stock throttle body off an 88 corvette that was running and the stock fuel pressure regulator housing that was on the same car. Obviously, I got a new fuel pressure regulator. I also grabbed and put in a chip from a stock 87 automatic car. No change.
Should also be noted that I hooked up my friends Snap On MT2500 Graphing Scanner to the car to pull the codes. TPS was good, IAC Position was 144. However MAF (gm/Sec) was 23 and the AIRFLOW (gm/Sec) was reading 72 which im pretty sure are the bad values the maf is feeding the ecm.

Question:
This week im planning to change both maf power and burnoff relays. In the mean time I was curious about this maf sensor my car came with, which has this remanufactured sticker on it. Is it possible that it failed again? Car didnt give me an issue for 2 years of near daily driving with it. And when I unplug it and start the car the car runs the same way like its going to die and hiccuping. Tried cleaning it with MAF cleaner and no change. Has anyone used one with the same sticker and had problems as well with it? Anyone had the same codes and issues and figure out what it was?

Thanks in advance

I don’t think the throttle body, regulator or chip had anything to do with your codes.
Follow the factory flow charts and isolate the part.

Agent 86 gave you the good stuff I just wanted to highlight something he gave you. Chances are the code 44 lean is due to the MAF issue, I cut and pasted what he gave you below. Since they may have disconnected the MAF and removed the air filter to TB tube to the TB for your repair I would hope it is a connector issue. I would do the test Agent 86 gave you, unplug the MAF and see if it runs better. Check the connector for pins pushed back and then Pin A for ground then pin C with a modern multimeter to see if it is 5vdc+ that means the MAF is not lowering the voltage to signal the MAF is measuring the air flow. This 5 vdc may be a low power circuit so make sure it is a modern multimeter
