Default 86 fuel tank vent line question

Is there a flow restrictor in this line?
If it's mentioned in the FSM I missed it, all the tests for the evap system pass, only thing I notice is the line going to the tank
acts like there is a metered orifice in it, it passes air both ways but it's slow to do so.

I had a blockage in the small metal line that runs up to the carbon canister in the left front fenderwell. It was full of rusty junk but I was able to clear it by blowing compressed air through it. It has since been disabled as the vette turned into a dedicated drag race car. With 10% corn in the gas a steel pipe doesn't stand a chance. For a long term fix, you might consider running a copper or plastic hard line.

Use rust remover and compressed air to clean it out. Once it plugs up completely the tank can't vent and will build up pressure.

To be clear you're saying there is not an intentional restriction or metered orifice of any sort in that line?

Well apparently there is not any sort of intentional metering in that line. Mine was clogged in the short front most steel section and the short rear most steel section.
Cleared the front and bypassed the rear with some fuel rated hose. That was an annoyance.
