Idle only
Hello all,
I recently picked up a 1985 model with the engine disassembled. I am not new to the automotive world and used to work in a machine shop as an engine assembler but know nothing about the TPI set up. My issue is after rebuilding the engine that came in the car and getting it fired up it will only run if idling. as soon as I crack the throttle it tries to shut off. The only modifications to the engine were 24 lb injectors (new), Comp Cam and long tube headers which the seller gave me with the car. I have not set the timing yet but sure it is close.
