Testing MAF?
What is the procedure for testing a TPI mass airflow sensor using a digital voltmeter? Can it be done with the MAF off the car? I would like to check mine to possibly help my decision on whether or not to stick with MAF or switch to speed density. Thanks.

I believe a special tool is needed for testing the MAF. I don't think a volt meter will do it.
The simple test is to disconnect the MAFwhile the engine is running. It should runs worse if it is working. Another way to check is to tap on the MAF while it is connected and the engine is idling. If the car runs differently while you tap on it you may have a problem with the MAF.
