Auto vs Man Throttle Bodies
Will a throttle body from an auto (LT1) fit a manual car? It's my understanding the auto's have an added kick down on their linkage the 6 spd's don't, which prevents a manual body from being bolted to an auto.

I know none of the aftermarket throttle bodies make the distinction. I also know that my Holley aftermarket TB has a provision for another connection that I'm not using. I'm pretty sure that the stocker did not have the same provision.
However since you asked if the TB from an auto would fit a manual, it should, you just might not hook everything up. Going the other way could present a problem but I don't know for sure. :cheers:

The LT1, correct me if I'm wrong, has a computer controlled Auto Trans. No "kick down" or detent cable like the older L98's needed. Therefore nothing extra on the throttle body.
