Default 1986 corvette dash problems

Voltage shows it running high but had it checked out and the voltage is fine. Dash lights don't always come on at first and the dash cluster has some issues. Can this be fixed. 1986 corvette.

You posted this twice. I answered the other saying you should check all grounds and check all solder connections on display. age may have created bad solder joints.

Default Dash problem

Thank you, I will do that. Probably should check the fuses also. They are original. Maybe to old??

Easy to see if there is 12 volt across the fuse terminals.

Checking the solder connections is probably not easy I'm assuming. If I'm right, there is either 10 or 12 of them.

A high voltage reading is a symptom of a failing power supply in the digital display. If you are good at soldering, you could fix it yourself by ordering a new power supply from Batee, but if you're not, just send the whole thing to Batee to fix everything. Have them change the light bulbs to LED's and that will cut down the heat buildup in the display. Heat is the enemy of electronics.
