93 Corvette starring rack bushing install advice
Thinking about replacing the steering rack bushings in 93, looks like the big bushing comes without a split, I see other bushings for some other cars are split, Question, would hurt anything to split the bushings, just not removing the tie rod end to install . Thanks

the rack was out of the car when I did it.
Btw i noticed no improvement in response/feel going to polyurethane . If i did this again i would go delrin

i pressed mine out (in one piece) with a c-clamp a socket on one side and a big diameter axle nut socket on the other side
the rack was out of the car when I did it.
