93 Computer Repair - A happy thread.
Hello,
I have a 1993 that we bought for my wife. It's been the gift that keeps on taking since we got it. But, this is not a new problem thread. For the first time basically since we bought it, the thing is running excellently. And I've started to think maybe all the other issues I thought were issues had just been symptomatic of the computer having problems. I had had the C41 code, but it was intermittent and didn't always return after times where the battery was disconnected so i hadn't wanted to take the plunge and send the computer off. At this point I've rebuilt half the motor so when it just decided not to start and the C41 was back I shipped the computer off to SIA.
They said 3-4 week turnaround. I mailed it on a thursday. They called me the following friday saying it was evaluated, repaired, and ready to ship back, had it on the following wednesday. And the dangedest thing happened. I plugged the computer it, started the corvette and it was happy for the first time in three years.
