My 95 was starting and running perfect, But I was afraid of the Vats acting up and leaving me stranded. I sent my PCM off to Keith at PCM For Less in Ohio and he deleted the Vats and did a tune. I received it back and the car started right up and ran fine. I moved the car into my front yard so the garage would be empty for a project I was about to start. I locked the car and went about the project. When I went to move the car it would turn over but not start and the security light was solid. I called Keith and he recommended a Vats Bypass, So I got my key number and ordered the bypass. When it came in I installed it and tried the car and still would crank but not start with security light solid, But this time when the key was turned on both radiator fans would kick on.I visited with Keith and he said that my PCM was bad and he had one, So I purchased it from him and he did the download for me.
I received it back and installed it. Now with or without the Vats bypass the engine will not even turn over and the security light is still solid. I am about ready to send both back to Keith and ask him to reactivate the VATS system as I do not know what to do next. I am hoping that someone on this forum would have a good suggestion please.
Thank You

In a normal Vats issue the car would not crank, but since you had the PCM reprogrammed there is no telling what your current problem is. If you consider the thousands of C4 Corvettes produced the number of them that had Vats problems are tiny. Since your issue started when you had the PCM programed I'd think that the firm that did the work created the problem. Work with them to resolve the issue.
Well the car now starts, I called Doc @ Doc"s Corvette and he suggested unlocking the passenger door then the drivers door and see if it would start. Lo and behold it started right up. I experimented with locking and unlocking the doors in different patterns and no problem it started right up. Doc recommended leaving the bypass hooked up. So after 3 weeks of sitting in my front yard it is now back in the garage.
