I know this has been covered here a hundred times, but the discussions keep deviating from the key problem.
I want to change out the stock manifolds in my 1985 C4 with long tube headers. No aftermarket headers appear to have those connections to the EGR System runner pipes on the sides of the engine. If I have to lose those pipes off the manifold, I pretty much have to do an EGR delete, correct?
On the iron headed small blocks (vortec not included) the egr gets exhaust from the crossover port in the intake manifold. You must be thinking of the A.I.R. tubes on the manifolds/headers.
