1995 PKE issue

1995 PKE issue
For some reason my PKE stopped working with my fob. I did a relearn with the fob, and the buttons work. However, holding down the door button on the fob doesn’t enable the PKE like the manual says.
another maybe related issue, locking the driver door from the inside and closing the door, doesn’t lock the door. I can still open what should be a locked door from the outside without issue. If I lock the door with the round key via the door lock externally, it does lock the door. Any ideas?

I am to tired to talk about these things but read you owners manual and if you don't get it try it again.
