:iagree: 65Z01 has a step by step process for this. I printed it out last weekend. BTW, Thanks. As for the shrugging shoulders smilie I have seen this one posted before
1) Get a GOOD digital VOM
2) Using a pin to pierce the center wire? on the TPS, connect the VOM probe to the center wire.
3)Place VOM in VOLTAGE mode. ((((Be careful here))))
4) Loosen the TWO screws holding the TPS on the side ogf the T-Body.
5) Turn on the ignition (DO NOT START ENGINE)
6) I think you're looking for .56 volts. "Thereabouts".
If you've GOT + .56 volts you're FINISHED!!! Yea.
If NOT:
Grasp the "tail" of the TPS where the plug connects to it and move it either up or down to adjust to .56 volts on your VOM.
7) When you have it adjusted to your satisfaction, tighter the two screws you loosened earlier making sure the voltage doesn't change when you do.
Turn OFF the ignition.
Remove your wire piercer or pisser if you stuck your finger.
