master cylinder pressure switch
Hello all,
My 85 model does not have a pressure switch in the master cylinder. There is a brass plug in place of the switch and there is the wire for the switch. I would like to install a pressure switch but can't find one anywhere I know to check. I have tried all the major parts stores, Corvette central (discontinued) and Ecklers. I also need a light switch for the emergency brake handle. Does anyone know where I can possibly find these items. 1985 4+3 base model.

My understanding is the later C4's have a different thread pitch on their brake warning switch? Anyone have any info on that? From what I've read, the early C4's had a 12mm thread? Mine is crumbling apart, otherwise I'd remove it to check.
Also, does the plug from the wire harness on all C4's plug into both brake warning switches? Reason I'm asking is I've thought of putting a later C4 master cylinder on my 89 so I don't have to deal with leaking grommets anymore.
