Long story short I’m trying to just disable my EGR temporarily while I wait to find a right manifold for my 87 to change the shitty clamp design EGR pipe.
I am blocking both ends of the EGR pipe itself - I know I need to plug the vacuum line from the solenoid to the EGR valve.
Someone else has told me there are other vacuum lines I need to plug - I’ve been staring at the diagram in the FSM.
Another newb question - when I plug a vacuum line do I plug both the hose and where it attached?
ok awesome thanks and I could keep it this way with driving it on weekends a few miles here and there until October and that’s fine?
plan is to remove the air, smog valve over the winter storage season
