Data logging and ALDL mode
I'm new to data logging and tuning and want to make sure my understanding is correct...
I have an 89 C4 and a usb aldl cable from obd diagnostics. To data log on my year, I have to use the jumper to put the ECM in ALDL mode.
What impact does ALDL mode have on driving? I was reading in the manual it changes some things like spark advance. Do I need to be gentle or have any precaution driving with ALDL mode enabled?
