Headlight help please - 95
On my way home last night, i flipped the headlights on, and the driver's side one only turned about halfway. the pass. side light goes all the way around like normal, but the driver's side doesn't want to go but halfway...
any ideas as to what's wrong? i haven't had the chance to mess with it yet, i figured i would try and manually open it in case the motor was shot or something, but was wondering if anyine else had had this happen to them, nad, if so, what did you do to fix it?

sounds like the bushings are shot. You can get replacement bushings for a few dollars and the fix is not too difficult.

Check to make sure nothing has blocked the headlight travel. One of my fan relays had managed to come loose (relay cover had cracked and the relay fell off the clip) and was blocking the path of the headlight. If the pathe is clear, then it may be time for bushings.

Did the bushing r&r last summer. Fixes this like new. About $10 and under two hours time. Be sure to get bushings for both sides. :thumbs:

well after messing with it for 3 mins. or so, i got it to work, i think some wiring harnesses were just in the way...no biggie, but thanks anyway
