Hello everybody thank you in advance for your help regarding this post. Looking for a picture of what the emergency keys look like for a 1996 Corvette.
In the judging manual for a 1996 Corvette, it says you have emergency keys. I can’t find a photo and I don’t know if it’s those old plastic emergency keys they had back in the 80s/90s.
Sorry I can't help you with that because I know zero about Judging and what they would be referring to by emergency keys. Hopefully someone will come along that can provide an answer.
Granted my Dealership life ended with the rollout of the 94 model, and I never saw anything but 2 Fobs 2 Door 2 Ignition and in the rare Prep of a ZR-1 2 Power Keys
I asked a friend about the emergency keys and said he had seen a set once Pre-VATs But he did put a disclaimer in, we rarely ever looked at owners manuals because they were part of the Customer package handled by the Salesman
Not sure about '96 exactly, but it would look something like this. Credit card sized to fit in your wallet. You can find them on eBay, pay close attention to the "letter #" you need for the door key when searching. Just search, "corvette emergency key". I think they're very cool, I really like little trinkets like this👍
