Broken oil dipstick
So I am fairly convinced the engine oil dipstick in my 1994 is broken. One hint was oil coming out the dipstick tube. Another was that it seems to lack any form of seal. But I am not entirely sure what the dipstick handle should look like when it's not broken, I'm mostly assuming that part of it would fit inside the dipstick tube and have an O-ring seal. Regardless, replacement dipsticks, used or new, seem hard to come. So what does one do in this situation? I have noticed billet handles available from chinese sites but given that they don't specify fitment...

Maybe check your PCV valve, if it’s faulty and you have pressure in the crankcase could see it possibly pushing some oil up out the tube, I think you’d be leaking else where too if that was the case, but easy enough to check/replace. Not a lot to go wrong with the dipstick itself.
