Default 87 Brake Master Cylinder

So I've started to turn my 87 vette into an autocross car, and looking to change out the master cylinder. I saw the thread about the gen 4 camaro master swap which has a 1 inch bore, just wondering about a Wilwood master with the 1 inch bore as an option or if anyone has tried any of the Baer master cylinders with either the 15/16 or 1 inch bore. I don't want to trailer it to events so plan to still drive it on the street. Still have the vacuum booster and ABS. Put a dorman master on a few years back as it was all I could get ahold of at the time on short notice and have had enough bad experiences with dorman to be leery of trusting it under more regular aggressive braking.

The piston size isn't significantly different than stock if that's what you're after, but the later C4 masters fit the early cars easy enough and are a better design overall.

The thing you have to be careful about with swapping the master cylinder is that the mount point geometry is not the same as most other Chevrolets. I'm sure there's something from Wilwood that will work, but you can't just get the "Chevy" kind. Like you pointed out, the Gen 4 F-body is a swap, so that might be your most realistic option. If you go that route, just bear in mind you will also have to get a stand-alone proportioning valve or bias adjustment setup.
