Hello ima a owner of 1988 c4 corvette experiencing a werid problem
my car starts up sometimes and sometimes it does not im stumped i tried to look at everything fuel pressure fuel injectors ohms, new spark plugs new fuel regulator, new intake gaskets, new air filter
all vacuum lines seem to check up. new fuel pump, oil and coolant levels seem good, new coolant sensor, new oil pressure sender ''tho it was hard to put in but i did it''. when it does start up it starts up with white smoke in exhuast then disappears smells like raw gas, checked fuel psi and it goes up to 38 on key on then in around 10 min falls to 20 psi. thinking maybe leaky fuel injector ?
or maybe somthing else entirely, also moslty all grounds cleaned also. this problem seems more me to be more in the morning when cold,''but also when warm randomly'' cranks starts up dies immediately. i try to keep cranking and nothing, i let it sit went to work, started it up and boom starts up fine in the afternoon with white smoke that disappears , no freakin idea any help would be nice.

Any codes?
If you say it smells like raw gas, ya think it might be flooded??? Does the oil at the end of your dipstick smell like fuel? You can try "clear flood mode," cranking with the pedal <50% then re-attempt to start with your foot off the pedal. See if that makes a difference starting. If it helps, there's a chance fuel may be leaking into the intake as you mentioned.
