Default Ppl w/ Trickflow heads!

For all of you with Trickflow's 23 degree heads:

What pushrod length did you wind up with?

Also include the rocker arm types (brand & ratio), and deck height if reduced! I'm just curious to see what you all wound up with, since they advertise them as "stock" replacements, but my set seemed to be awefully tall with CC's Promagnum 1.6's, as compared to the stock length rods (wound up with 8" rods)?

Oh, and this is on a pre-87 block if that makes a difference?

TIA!

Anyone?

If you are using a std base circle hydraulic flat tappet cam, you can use stock length pushrods for roller rockers, but I would check the rocker to valve stem contact on 1.6 rockers. If you are using a hydraulic roller or roller cam/tappets, your pushrod length will need to be shorter. I used stock length hardened pushrods from Lingenfelter for my TFS 23* heads with stock deck height , 1.5 roller rockers and a hydraulic cam. They fit great, good rocker to valve stem contact. Their prices on HD pushrods were very competetive. Obviously, the best way is to measure with a adjustable push rod checker, but if that isn't an option, LPE can probably tell you what length you'll need if you are running anything other than stock.
