Default EFIConnection LS coil conversion kit - never responded?

A quick preface: I have a 1997 LT1 rebuilt with an LT4 hotcam valvetrain installed in a 70 vette. Started ~20 years ago there were no ODB2 harnesses available, so the transplant was done with a painless ODB1 harness and 93 reprogrammed ECM, however the we were never able to get the motor to start. Fast forward, the car is out of storage and getting finished, but the no-start issue remains.

I had tried to contact EFIConnection on potentially ordering their kit but email was the only option, which was never replied to, leaving me with option2: A reprogrammed OBD2 ECM with a new painless harness. With no clarity from EFIConnection, and a savings of close to 3K I went this route, just dropped it off at the shop to get done.

I know them and torqhead fully eliminate the optispark, but cost. lead times and lack of response was concerning, and the Bailey LTCC option still remains open to me in the future. Hopefully I made the right choice...

No experience with the others but I've run the Bailey setup for years and lots of miles with no real issue, and Bob has always been quick
to answer my emails. I developed a dead misfire on one bank out of nowhere last year after many many years and miles of use, sent the
control unit to Bob and he didn't find anything wrong but updated a few things in it. I'd bought a new one in the meantime which seemed
to fix the problem, and the one he didn't find anything wrong with worked fine after that as well so it's still a bit of a mystery
but it's been many thousands of miles with no issue. I also installed the thing in the engine bay exactly like he says not to.
Been on the same generic parts store opti for a good 15 years/150K now. The secondary side wigged out maybe five years
ago prompting the Bailey coil setup. Seems to have been money well spent. Only negative thing I can say is it's a lot of wire
to package and finding a way to mount coils attractively isn't low effort.
