Default Gauging interest in modded c4

I'm looking at a C7 ZO6 and just running out of room for more cars. I'm considering selling my C4 with extensive mods-but still passes Kal smog. It just seems like there's not many people left that do their own wrenching and would even know what it has-hence posting here for the audience here. Any thoughts on if I could even sell it? I'd want about 20K-I have a lot more than that into it just in parts. Z51/Dart SHP block, Callies forged stroker crank=401 cubes H beam forged rods, 2168 forged pistns. short block machined and assembled by Pettis Performance and comes with build sheet. comp cam-XFI 218/226 roller. AFR 195 heads. Be cool radiator, external oil cooler. D44 with 3.45. J55 brakes. Procharger P600b wih upgrade impeller. Super ram intake and big mouth intake manifold. 58mm throttle body. Probuilt 4L60E (for 750hp) Vigilante 10 TQ. US shift quick 4 stand alone for the trans. EBL P4 with wideband. Also would include stealth ram intake mod to fit under hood with fuel rail (not Kal smog legal) and 2nd EBL P4. Interior completely redone, dyna mat interior etc. !990 17 inch polished wheels. xtra set of 2 wheels with drag radials. Less than 5000 miles on the new engine and trans. And more. Last dyno was 464 RWHP with stock straight vane impeller.
I just have no idea if there's many folk left that would be interested. Heck, I can bareley get our kids to know how to change their own oil and change a flat tire!

I've already done my stint with a well-modded C4, but I just wanted to chime in and say that looks like build done right. At that power level, it would be rowdy but with a wide power band, and there is headroom for more if a buyer wants to make it rowdier and peakier. But it's going to be really fast and still nicely streetable as is. Someone should want to buy this, but I think you're going to have to offer rides in it to make the point.

While all of your mods and the results you've achieved look great on paper to get $20,000 you probably have to get the attention of a narrow group of buyers. People are willing to pay bigger coin on a ZR1 or Sport but I believe the normal C4 buyer is at 8 to 12k vehicle depending on condition. Some people would be scared off by the number of mods you've made.

But I bet your car is a thrill to drive. .

I appreciate the feedbak. For now I'll hang onto it and fix a few more minor things left to do. It has sport seats with blown lumbar bags that I have the parts for and just need to get to it. I would offer it to the kids, but they've managed to wreck corollas and camrys, so I'm afraid I wouldn't trust them not to hurt themselves in this toy.

C-4s are a little different than most Corvettes people as I see it are not willing to pay for mods value that are put on C-4s will only pay so much no matter what ya do to it ,there is a line in the sand on these old C-4s in money spent if ya go over it you will have to eat it on getting a return on your investment properly not happening ,I know what it takes to get a C-4 well anything up to level you have it this C-4 and $20,000 drop in the bucket ,well can't get a lone on it have to pay cash most would go with a newer Corvette were can get a lone on the thing .I learned years back on moding cars any cars ya better decide in the build along the way to keep it or might sell it if so, where is the line if you go over it were you're going lose money, and one needs to be thinking about that, trying to sell a moded hot rod and get your money back sometimes but that's very rare .. Sounds like a super C-4 well worth big money. Good luck .

True words radar502. I paid higher than norm for my 1995 'vette convertible because it had everything, and more, that I was looking for without busting these old Arthritic knuckles in the process. Though I paid a premium, I also, knew this would be my last. I made $$$, or at least recovered my investments in 5 of my last 6 classic muscle cars but, never counted on it.

My estate will not have any blood in the game when they sell my Vette so they will have 100% profit. Not bad for waiters.
