I want to install a set of shorty headers on my 84 auto, I dont want to do long tubes atm. Is there a good brand of bolt ons that would work? Links preferred instead of "jegs has a nice set" parts numbers work great too

without considering the science of induction/exhaust/cam. stock exhaust manifolds flow about 100cfm. ported at collector side can flow 125cfm at best. probably good enough for stock heads and cam. My original ported intake manifold and exhaust manifold made engine more responsive than stock. was fine with stock ecm. did adjust fuel pressure to 13psi.
Hedman long tube header have a good fit and are cheaper than same quality shorty.
1.)Cut out AIR injection.
2.)Weld outside of tubes including newly made holes from AIR rejection removal.
3.)Grind welds inside tubes near flange. These welds drastically decrease the diameter.
4.)Send to jethot to coat if you wanna be fancy.

It looks like you've got mostly the Crossfire engine, but if you've got any infor for a L98 (1989) id appreciate it.
im looking around to try to find one to keep it breathing into the higher RPMs and most of what i find is about the Super ram, which looks like its around 4K+ which is way outta my budget. eventually i intend to supercharge it will a few pounds of boost, but i don't want the lower end feeling soggy until then as that's a far future plan. any other recommendations?
