Default AC compressor rebuild

Any recommendations to have my R4 original compressor rebuilt? Does Dominic Tallarita still do it? If so, How can I contact him?

I don't know about rebuilding but I've been replacing R4's with the newer scroll type with good result for the last two or three I've come across.
They aren't supposed to be as efficient at low rpm but they seem to be way quieter and smoother and have less drag and have cooled well
in the apps I've used them in.

Thanks, I did a pro6Ten in my 73 that works great, seems to have as much drag as the A6. As far as the R4 I just acquired a completely original showroom looking low mile 1985 I am going for Top Flight with so I prefer keeping original. I have heard rebuilts are very unreliable but the new ones have some appearance differences,

Gotcha. I would imagine with low miles all it needs is seals. I don't think that is especially difficult to do. I know the seal kits used to be available.
