Hi i just recently bought my first corvette last week and im trying to get it to idle strong. I changed the maf sensor and that helped a little bit but now its bogging down till it almost dies and then it revs up. I went to investigate and saw that all the vacuum lines for egr system have been sniped and i suspect thats my problem. I ordered some vacuum hoses of various sizes and i planned to replace all of my vacuum hoses just to make sure i get rid of all the vacuum leaks but i wanted to make sure i could use that to replace the whole system or if theres any specific parts i will need. I also want to see if im on the right track to getting my car idling strong.
the kit i ordered has 6.6 feet of 1/4”, 3/16”, 5/32”, and 1/8”. Im not a master mechanic by any means im just working my way through one problem at a time with chat gpt, youtube, and whatever forums i can find that are relevant.
Make sure to get a factory service manual. These cars show up in the pick ur parts wrecking yards and that’s probably the easiest way to find all the lines. There’s a vacuum line that goes through the firewall to control the hvac. That line is made out of soft rubber and often is rotted. Good luck hunting.

thank you for the response. I checked all of the junkyards within a 8 hour drive of me (less then youd think) and none of them have any c4s. I did order some vacuum hose thatll be here friday and hopefully i can make do with that however i may have a few routing questions since some of the hoses are out right missing
