Default 1988 intermittent blower motor function

Hello all,
Recent problem in my 1988- the blower motor is only working intermittently. It changes day to day, sometimes it works for a week doesn't work for a day, then fixes itself the next.
When it isn't working, no setting on the climate control will turn it on. This isn't very convenient with the cold weather around here recently.
With the way it only sometimes works, it seems like it could be a ground issue.
Could someone tell me where the ground for the blower motor is? And what fuses/wires/connectors I should check for a bad connection, etc.
My service manual doesn't say much about diagnosis for this. And all the old forums I am finding that describe this issue have the images all removed .
If anyone has had experience with this issue, any help on where to get started would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mine did that. I pulled the connector at the motor, bent the pins just slightly. Problem gone.
