Default Mystery fluid help!

Hello everyone, I have a 1988 c4 vette that I have been rebuilding for the last year. Over the last 3 to 5 months this fluid has been leaking from the drivers side power steering area under the rack and pinion. I originally figured it to be the pump but after removal the leak is still dripping everyday. The fluid is not sticky at all which makes me assume power steering however i cannot find the leak anywhere that would indicate this as true. I have also had my power steering cooler line exposed but have not seen a decrease in the fluid over the last couple months I’ve had it off.there is fluid on the rack and pinion, all over the boot, all over the cross member of that side. There has been no coolant in the car since the entire system was replaced months ago. I’m hoping I will not have to replace the rack and pinion but if could be anything else please give me any ideas on where to check.

Have you checked inside the boots? If the inside of the boot has fluid on it, that's your problem.
