Earlier today everything worked fine, now I am sure this is totaly unrelated but the only thing I did to the car today was change the oil. Now when ever I start her up the clock is reset back to 1:00 and the radio doesnt work, the antenna doesnt go up either...WTF
There are two power wires. One hot with ign. the other hot all the time to keep your clock and presets alive. You need both hot to make everything work. Checked all fuses?? Good luck!!
p.s. the fuse your looking for is ctsy/clk 15 amp but i would also check the radio fuse.
I checked all the fuses and they are all good, its wierd because the radio is gettnig power, and works like normal, there is just no sound coming out of the speakers
Edit: Fixed it! it was kinda wierd tho, it was that ck/ctsy(?) fuse but the fuse wasnt blown it was just kinda nasty on one side of it, I scratched some of the stuff off with my finernail and it works just fine now. This weekend when I am home I'll replace it...thanks
Is this a bose radio? If so there is a relay that powers the bose amps. This relay is triggered by the radio. Give me more info and maybe i can help you!

Re: Radio dead and clock resets itself (dankai)
This is a long shot but be sure your battery is fully charged. The bose system does funny things if the battery is not charged . If you put it on a charger for an hour or so and the problem still exists, then you know that's not it. ;)

I betting on a discharged battery, perhaps you haven't been driving your Vette enough to keep it charged up. If you're driving it everyday, I wonder if it isn't time for a new battery and/or alternator.
Re: Radio dead and clock resets itself (silver & red CE)
Well I just replaced the alternator about a week ago because it died, I charged the battery up for about an hour before I even tried starting the car and its been charging in the upper 13 to 14.4 range. I am going to try charging it again and see if that helps, if it does then I will just get a new battery. Thanks for the help
Sorry bout that, its a stock bose radio. The radio itself turns on and even says "stereo" just like normal, the things that are not working are the no sound to the speakers, cigarette lighter, and interior lights.
Fixed it, it was that fuse ck/cys(?) thanks, its funny tho becuase when I tested it with the light it was fine, I took the fuse out and its not blown, but it did have some stuff on one side of it, cleaned that off and it works fine.
That ctsy/clock fuse i spoke of earlier powers your interior lights as well as your radio. I would try and trace that wire to see if the power makes it all the way to the radio. Good luck!!
