Default Electrical Wiring Question...

I'm trying to install something in the compartment under the steering column and I need to find these wires, could someone help me with what colors or sizes I should be looking for.

12V ignition wire
accesory wire
12v constant
Ground

the last two are fairly trivial, but the first two I've got no clue about. The should be comming off the steering column somewhere, but I'm not sure where. Oh and the ignition wire would need to be after any security measures. Thanks for the help guys.

Rather than splice into existing wiring, why not just run a new positive wire from the batt and connect the ground to a suitable ground near the steering column? Use the appropriate wire gage for the amperage required and install an in-line fuse. If you need the device to be activated with the ignition, add an in-line switch for manual activation.

If you are not aware, there is an accessory connection available in the center console.

Yes this is quite obvious. That's why I posted that these two are trivial in my first post. Ok, here's the rest of the story, I'm trying to install a turbo timer for my car. And for those that don't know, this little box keeps your car running after you pull out the key for a set amount of time to let it cool off without you having to be in the car. So to keep the car running you need a direct tap onto the ignition wire to keep the car running. The rest of the wires are fudgeable, but this one is not. I need the actual wire for it. Anybody have a wiring diagram from a GM service manual that might that would have a color or location of the wire, or has anybody actually taken things apart enough to know what/where it is????? Please Help!!
