C4 Tech/Performance L98 Corvette and LT1 Corvette Technical Info, Internal Engine, External Engine

need your opinion! which one first

Default need your opinion! which one first

limitted funds for mods on 94 lt1 with 3.07 A4 , which would you do first? can't do at the same time 2400 torque converter or 3.54's
they will be together within a year so which one first??? :banghead: :sleep: :boxing

torque converter make sure you get a good one most people prefer vigilante :cheers:

I would go with the TC first. Reason why, you may find that with the 3.07's you already have, with the new TC might be more than you expected. If not then you can go ahead with the 3.54's as planned.

Oh, and most everybody's opinion on TC's for a LT1/LT4 is to go with a 2800 stall.

I am having both the mods you are talking about done next week. I am going with a stealth 2800 stall from Yank TC's and 3.54's in the rear. My car has 2.59's in it, so I figured If I was going to change them, I might as well go for the 3.54's. But If my car would have had 3.07's, I think I would just have the TC done first.

Either way you should see a noticeable difference. Good luck.

2800 why higher than 2400 ??? :thumbs:

I really don't know, that's just what everybody I've talked to and read on here suggest (which is why I am going with it). I think it's because 2800 is closer to the sweet spot on the LT1/LT4 vs. say a L98 which would probably be more suited for a 2400 TC. And considering were talking pretty much stock engines or maybe slight engine mods.
