My 85 vette is hurt. A few months ago I was sitting at a red light, minding my own business when a curb smashed into my back tire at 65mph! (o.k. I spun out on a windy back road.) I hit hard enough to crack the rear driver-side rim in half, put 90* bents in both trailing arms, strut rod was "s" shaped, shock ripped in half, and the shock mount on the knuckle bent.
I replaced everything above but I still have a problem. Now the driver's side tire seems to sit in the wheel well about an inch and the passanger side tire sticks out about an inch. I haven't had it aligned yet, but I don't think an alignment could correct that big a difference? Could it?
My question is; Is there an adjustment to center the rear end? Everything else seems to be fine and the car drivers. The only problem is the rear shifts on hard acceleration and there is a small vibration over 40mph.(but thats to be expected with the alignment so far off) Could I have shifted the rear-end frame mounts?(they look ok, but I could be wrong)
If anyone has had a similar experiance with a curb or like object, I would love to hear how it was fixed and what was damaged. Any suggestions would be a big help.
Are both tires leaning the same way. That could explain why one is inside one inch and the other is outside one inch. Wheel alignment could fix that. Did the spring and mounts get hurt? Hope you get her strightend out!!

No both tires seem to be pretty close to the right camber, but they slightly turn to the drivers side.(maybe 5 degrees) \------\
That is why I think the whole rear shifted
