yeah I really like the option of seeing real time exactly what your motor is doing in real time and being able to make adjustments on the fly that is really cool The sport compact sceen haS hAd it for a while but their stand alone engine management systems cost thousands! you can get the accel dfi for the same price as the chip reprogramers out there! and the acessability is about 1000 times better :flag

I have been using a dfi gen.6.32 for the last three years.
I"m installing a new gen.7 now and will be selling my gen.6 dfi.
I think it is sold allready but if the deal don't go through I will post it for sale in the for sale section.
If you could see A/F ratios from cars with chips that have been on the dyno it would make a real dfi fan out of you because nearly all of them are not even close to being right. dfi will not only get you a lot more power but much better fuel mileage :steering:

The gen.6.32 has drivers for high impedance injectors so 50 lb injectors is as high as you can run unless you added a vic box onto it.
This winter I have installed a bigger blower and custom intercooler I now have to use the low impedance race injectors and I wanted to go to wide band so I went with the gen7.
I could have added a vic box to my gen.6 and added a wide band option but with what I can sell mine for plus what it would cost to add vic box and wide band totals up to as much as buying a new one. This would be a great deal for someone that didn't need injectors over 50 lbs. With the fuel pressure turned up a little a 50 lb would be good for about 900 hp so depends on what your goals are as to if this is what you need. I think it is already sold I have a laptop that goes with it for tuning.

I just went to a Gen VII. I like it very much. The tuning screen on the laptop is awesome!(no wide band 02 for me though)

I just purchased a used dfi from a forum member for my 93. The main reason i bought it was so i could increase the redline to 7500 on my new 383. The stock pcm shuts down at 7000 rpm or so. After looking through the calmap booklet i am amazed at how much you can tune with the dfi. Now i am incredibly happy that i will be using a proper tuning tool, instead of a guesswork chip.
