There are places that can do this. Do a search on google or look for ads in the mags.

You send in your top and they usually send you another one right back then take yours apart and fix it to sell to the next guy.
I know they reuse the hardware.
It costs about $500-600 vs $1200 thru Chevy

Both Ecklers and MAD do this.

The acrylic piece is just bonded to the aluminum frame. Mine is starting to seperate from the fram on the passenger side. When it warms up I am going to attempt to re-bond it myself before I take it to a professional. Try going to astrotops.com and giving them a call. Or try ebay. Lots of tops on ebay lately.

Talk to Keith at Generation roof panels. They are in Tennessee. Website http://www.generationroofpanels.com Great people, they replaced my crazed bronze top for $452.41 including shipping and handling. They put a new top on your frame to ensure a good fit. They also ship you a box to send it in for $50.00 then credit that towards the top refinishing when they get it back. I went with the blue instead of the bronze on the replacement, much less depressing to see blue skies than brown!

Actually, I just looked again and it was less than that. I had them send me another trim piece (that goes around the edge of the top) for my painted top and that was $33.00 of the price above. They also put another new trim piece on when they replace the acrylic.

I wonder if GM sells just the acrylic piece. Being a auto glass installer by trade I think I could figure it out pretty easy.

I've looked at my shop manual and it does not look all the bad to replace, IF you have the right part.

It can't suck anymore then when I put a back window in a 99 Mustang vert. :U that sucked bad.

After consulting the 94 Corvette Bible, here what I can detemine.

They gave absolutly no instructions on how to replace the Removable Panel's panel. But after lloking at the exploded view I still think I can do it.
I'm even thinking I can convert my solid panel to a tinted one. I'll let you know after I jack with mine a bit.
