TPS Voltage ?

TPS Voltage ?
My 93 vette has a slight miss in it at an idle. The code scanner I am using shows 2.8 volts at WOT. Does anyone know the correct voltage? Isn't this low? I replaced the original factory with a Borg Warner from O'reilly's and with the same scanner it shows the same voltage. Could it be the signal that the TPS is receiving? 2 bad TPS?

I have mine set close to 4.5v, and at idle it is around .90v. I did have to do some adjusting with a file to the mounting holes to be able to adjust it. Have you taken the TPS completely off and used a screwdriver to turn it and see what voltage you get? :seeya

Have you tried the screwdriver trick yet? Your computer can be reset, by simply disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, but that will not affect your tps reading. Thanks for the complement. :seeya

tps should be .054 at idle and 4.5 or more at wot.
What does your show at idle sounds like the tps is defective.
Setting should be done with throttle closed not adjusting it for wot.
If the tps is good when set properly at idle it will be right at wot.
