4L60E shift problems

4L60E shift problems

I bought some BFG drag radials for the track. Car drove and raced fine on street tires. And drove fine on the drag radials to the track(150 miles). But, when I went down the track the increased grip caused shifting problems. Problems with upshifts into second and third and downshifts back to first.

I drove the car back home and everything was fine. I called Ed Wright and they said they could take care of it in the programming. They are very tight lipped. They would not explain how. What could they be changing?

My car is a 95.

I replied to your other post on the same subject.

I'm limited to seeing your program with LT1 Edit. I imagine Ed has a little more to work with. But if you can find a forum member in your area that can download your program (which is easy and cannot harm your PCM in any way) and send it to me, I can take a look.

I'll re-read your original posting on the problem and do a little research. But from what I know so far, the shift programming is pretty straight forward. I'm not sure what Ed could really do as far as a program change to help your situation.
