I was wondering if anyone with an LT-1 auto was running in the 12's with out going into the motor or maybe just doing minor engine work. And what else do you think I could do to get into te 12's

Re: Any LT-1 autos in 12's with basic mods... (cprgmr)
In our old 92 LT1 Auto, we ran consistent mid 12.6's with the following mods:
1.) 3.75 Ring and Pinion Gears (~$350)
2.) 275/40 17 Drag Radials (~$300)
3.) Vigilante 2800rpm Stall Converter (~$500)
4.) Dual 2½" Exhaust from the manifolds back (with a Flowmaster 2 chamber dual in/out muffler in place of the factory resonator.) (~$500)
5.) K&N Filter/Cut Lid (~$50)

I have run a 12.91 on my mich. pilot tires. A lot of people dont believe me but for some reason they really hook well at MIR. I have been to 75-80 dragway, and Cecil Co. but it dosnt hook near as well at those tracks. So as said above, the track does have a lot to do with it.
