 :D :D

If I have to drive through leaves on the road, I try to count the leaves in front of me and then count the leaves behind me. The difference is in the RAD :smash:

I also try to make sure plastic bags and other debris are still on the road after I drive by

Are you gonna be at Carlisle?

Default radiator debris

Back when my tranny cooler was installed....john panuzzo and ralph cleaned mine out. There was a bunch of crud in there. Definitely the thing to do at least once a year.

Good heads up Corky!

Hehe, I thought I was the only one who tried to keep track of all the leaves on the road:)

Thanks for the reminder to check the rad

What,s the easiest way to get to the crud? (Besides being run over by your own car!)

I think there is a paper in the tech tips section on this. It isn't too bad though. You have to pull the radiator shroud and the radiator. Everybody that owns a C4 needs to do this. You will be shocked at how much stuff is in there and surprised at how much cooler the car will run afterward.

HMMM....Toyota...not just for breakfast anymore.

I still think that the unofficial nick name of the C4s should be, Corvette - the hoover years.

Yep....it's a bottom feeder, and sucks up debris like an Oreck on steroids. My debris included cigarette butts, a dead desecated bird, wrappers of underterminable origin, leaves, and a Wal-Mart bag. After cleaning the front of the radiator, the temps dropped by about 15 degrees. While you have it out is a good time to clean everything and repaint the shroud if it needs it.
