Need new throttle body... BBK?

My throttle body is mechanically worn out. I have heard BBK makes a TB that is better than the BBK/Edelbrock. does anyone know the part # and where to get it? :steering: Also where is a good place to get a helmet, its time to start hittin' the track. :cool:

Since I'm pulling the intake, I just took a Dremel (again) to my BBK to reduce the front opening for a better fit of the bellows.

Check out AS&M units. I saw their product line while in Chandler, AZ and the workmanship is superb.

Check out your local motorcycle shops or Summit Racing for a helmet. Be sure it meets current NHRA requirements.

I ordered my BBk through Zip-Corvette.com. They had the best price at the time. I got the 52mm and the workmanship is much better than the stock unit. They also have a good tech-support team.

I recently got a BBK TB for the same reasons (stock one mechanically shot). It's a very nice piece, except for the whole mess with the bellows not fitting. I played around with the bellows, the band clamp, and a razor blade and got it to fit. Other than that, I have no complaints (it's TB cover plate even matches my crinkle-black powdercoated intake and valve covers!)
