Vortech FMU
I have a friend with a F body, that is going to put a vortech supercharger with aftercooler on his LT4 headed hotcammed 350. I know a FAST/ DFI type system would be best, but he has a generic Hypertech supercharger program with the FMU. I know 10.8 is alot of compression for a blower, but we are at 4400 feet, and he was going to run low boost, 4-5 lbs. He also has a MSD box with timing retard. Any ideas, should I just talk him into the DFI, or should we see how close we can get it with the FMU. The FMU would save him a lot of money, if it doesn't eat it's self. Thanks Guys.
