flowmaster 40 series: where do i

Where do i get these?! I have read a lot of good and bads about these mufflers. I love the loudness they have, i have just not been able to find them. Where have you guys purchased yours? All i can seem to find is the 50 series American thunder line. I want the 40 series for my car (84) Any advice would be great!! :cheers:

I bet you're looking for exact replacement 40's. I'm almost positive they are not made. However, buy some 40's and a mufflershop could weld them right on... :yesnod: Jeg's or Summit would be my choice...

Thanks guys.. That was exactly what i was doing. I checked ebay out and there are several auctions on there. Im going to check out summit later to see what kind of deal i can get.. Thanx!! :cheers:

Summit racing or Jegs will have them. 2 1/2 inch offset in / center out. The input can be expanded to fit the 2 3/4 inch pipe very easily.

Every muffler shop has'em in stock! But beware, get the normal 40's not the 40's deltaflow wich are a little quieter and $20 more for each muff. They're both 2 chambers, so if they tell other wise just :boxing

I got mine for my '84 at the muffler shop itself. A LOT more spendy than Jeg's or Summit, but they were the only ones that had the 40 series in a the model I needed. (2 1\2 center in, dual 2 1\2 outs)
