firestone sz50ep

Has any one tried the firehawk sz50ep? I have a 383 1984 and need more traction! :auto:

You using your stock 16" wheels?

I used them last year on my '85 on the stock 16"x9.5" wheels
(255-50 ZR16 tires) and they gripped AWESOME.. On the street they are
a lot better than the 17" BFG's I have on usually. I will be getting a set fo rmy 17's once I get some ca$h...

I have them on my 96 A4 with 17" wheels, they hook up NICE! I've used them on the street and track. I would definatly recommend them. I have 275s on the front and 285s on the rear. Great tires! Get em!

They are . 16x9.5inch rims .Are they thinner looking?What about mich. sports?

Are these tires better tahn michelin Pilot sports? Do they make a 315 also?

Probably not better than the Pilot Sports, just alot cheaper. And, don't think they make a 315.

They were on my 96 LT-4 when I bought it (new ones too!) and they seem to be a very good tire. Glad to hear you are having luck getting them to hooka at the track! Plan on getting there soon.
