I checked the performanceintl.com website and found the DF (Dual Friction) clutches were priced at $537.89. Also if you ordered the Centerforce I clutch it was $331.28 but you need to order the Centerforce Disc for $151.82 with it. Am I missing something here? Of course the prices I got were for a '92 LT-1.

Must be related to year and 6speed vs 4+3 manual Tranny. I checked the website using 1985 and prices have not changed since I bought mine.
That must be it. Ecklers is showing the DF clutch for $620.00. Then they have the Power Matched Clutch Set 11" for $390.00 which has all parts needed for replacement. Do you think there is that much difference going with the Centerforce in a daily driver?
The Centerforce DF could be overkill if stock. If you do a search in archives there have been many discussions on this. Personnally, If I had to replace the clutch for street use only, never went to drag strip, I would look at prices and if they are close stick with stock.

I agree, they said that the CF-II would be great for slightly modified engines. Mine will be a 406 with @ 5??TQ so the DF was what I got. :smash:
