Default Cold air induction problems

I am having problems with my cold air induction systems rubbing on the underside of the hood. I have used a TPIS Airforce 1 and presently a Vortex ram air-both rub.Has anyone else had this concern? How much power would I loose if I went back to the cut lid/K&N setup? Any better systems out there? This getting kind of expensive...... :cry

The only one id use is the SLP one. Not sure how much youd lose with the SR already on, but on a stocker you wouldnt lose enough to worry.

:iagree:

I have used the SLP one and it is almost totally stock looking.. Nothing rubs, but works damn good..
