LT1 block vs LT5 block

LT1 block vs LT5 block
Is there any differances in the these blocks? I know that the two have totally different head and intake setups, just wondering if the blocks are the same :) TIA.

They are completely different. The LT5 has a 3.90 inch bore with a 3.66 inch stroke and if I'm not mistaken is made out of aluminum. As far as I know there isn't a single common part between the two.

The only thing they share is the bore spacing and net CID.
