This is soooo coool
Just a few mintues ago i offically entered the world of PCM "tuning". :D
With Tunercat, it was easier than i ever thought!! My 1995 was re flashed without a hitch and with ZERO problems.
Although i didn't do much right now (just skip shift elimination, cooling fans at a lower temperature, etc..) i feels pretty good. :cheers:

CONGRATS! Now .. DO NOT let your battery die when you do that or you run into the MILES of problems i had :crazy:

If heaven forbid you ever mess up and fry your PCM :cry let me know I can fix it for you. I can socket your PCM and reflash your chips for you. :auto:

:cool: .. the guy from AKM cables did mine for me... thank GOD he knew how to do that. I killed my 383 when i was programming it after having only driven it for 10 minutes with the new engine, lol. It was soooooo mad.

Yes, I know Andy there. He has since stopped doing socketing of PCMs now. I purchased the last remaining stock of Intel Flash chips for the PCMs from on company that my dad knew about. I think there are a couple of others doing it as well. I usually have a couple PCMs on hand so it can even be on an exchange basis if one doesn't want to wait. I have access to GM calibrations if virgin files are necessary or if one just wants a virgin file for their cars.
