I did the code to the LCD readout and got the following:
1
H 13
H 74
4
H 15
The code 13 is for O2 sensor?
The Code 74?
The H15 is for low coolant sensor voltage?
Am I right? Can someone troubleshoot me here? Point me in the right direction please.
Thanks alot!
Doug
Grounded A to G and read on the LCD Display. I have seen the code 15 as both high and low voltage, can anyone clarify this for sure? And the code 74 I cannot find anywhere.
Sorry, A to G is correct! No, I don't have an aftermarket Radio. And now I am getting a SYS light flashing in my LCD readout. Researching the threads points to dying battery. Could all of these possibly be related?
Thanks alot for all of your help!!!!
Service Engine Soon light indicates a ECM error code
Sys light indicates a CCM error code
So did you see if you have a new CCM error code by shorting A to G?
Here's how to clear the CCM codes.
Ground A to G
Turn ignition on
Press Trip/ODO button until 1.7 appears in the trip monitor area of the cluster
Press ENG/MET and hold until "---" appears in the speedometer area of the cluster. This will clear CCM codes.
Turn ignition off
Turn ignition on and verify that no CCM codes are present
Turn ignition OFF then remove the jumper from A to G.
Note while you're in diagnostic mode, no new codes are captured.
Yes a low battery seems to cause the SYS to come on.
Thanks Guys!!!
I had my battery checked and my alternator at AutoZone (while they were still in the car) My alternator was only putting out 65 amps, is that right or is that low? I know I have the 105 amp alt by RPO, but havent actually checked to see if it has ever been replaced. The SYS light has stopped since I had it checked? She must be testing me! Seeing if I am gonna take care of her! lolol I plan on pulling both the alternator and battery and have them bench tested this weekend. As for the code 15, is it possible that is being set by a 160 degree thermostat? That is the only code left right now, it says it is historical.
