I'm interested because it's cheap. I'm no engineer either, I just want to know, can it make power in a 350ci, say UNDER 5000 rpm? Can it make more power than TPI in the 3000 to 5000 range?

I once heard this advice

"NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT IT ONLY SERVES TO DRAG THE CONVERSATION DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL WHERE THEY HAVE THE ADVANTAGE OF EXPERIANCE"
I think this speaks for itself.

Considering this forum is like the HOLLY GRAIL of corvette owners and lovers, I can't believe you are behaving like this, considering you are trying to sell a new item for a corvette.. ALL this could and should have been done in a correct and PR matter..

Personally I was interested in it, but after this. No thanks... You may be an engineer and maybe you know your stuff, but you need to learn a LOT about running a business and PR...

Bottomline, I think everyone here would just like to see your product on a dyno with a 350 and not hear what the HSR can do.

Essentially, the tunnel ram portion of the system is a proven product since it is a factory piece from Holley, so I agree that the box is just a "reservoir", you might say for the intake.

The runner length is what is most important, I think, since it is a middle ground length being between the Super Ram and Mini Ram. This as we all know determines where the torque is generated.

So it looks like the idea is that the slightly longer runners help promote more low end torque than the MINIRAM and can breath better at higher RPM's than the Super Ram, which this all depends on how high of RPM's you use.

I will be anxious to test it on my new 406 after I get the MINIRAM motor installed and tuned. Once it is tuned I would consider doing a dyno then swapping to Stealth for a side by side.

On a side note, it's amazing how some people can act when they are not face-to-face, and if they were face-to-face, I'm sure they would act different.

I agree. I think it would be great to get dyno numbers from this system too, but the fact is, it's not going to be much (if at all) different than the same system with Holley's plenum. The plenum doesn't make that much of a difference! The Holley stealth ram is a proven power maker, and considering how cheap the Holley or Grumpy's setup is, all the nay-sayers should just buy the damned thing and try it before they start trying to string up Grumpy by his toes. I'm not in support of or against Grumpy or anybody else here, but like Grumpy, I've followed the whole stealth ram saga from the beginning and the fact that there is now a plenum available for C4 guys should be a reason for people to be excited, not bite the hand that feeds.

:iagree:

I find the price of your new intake very appetizing and appreciate all the work you have done but I need to know EXACTLY how much this would cost in the end. Fuel injector rails?, manifold? ect. I might be interested............

:withstupid:
I've been following the stealth ram since Holley's introduction. Someone, I think from Holley stuck it on a stock or near stock TPI and dynoed it. The info is allready out there. Camaro guys are running the stealth ram. A tunnel ram is not some brand new intake design. The only thing I'd like to see, is a dyno run between the two different plenums. I don't care what kind of motor it's on, the information between the two plenums is all that matters. I'd buy it even without that info because I believe the difference will not be much and the alternative is to modify my hood. Also, if I was to build a modified plenum, my only design criteria would be fitment.

I can't believe this thread has turned into a witch hunt. :nonod: I don't blame Grumpy for getting defensive after all the time he's put into this and the previous stealth ram threads going somewhat like this "Would you buy a stealth ram that fit under the stock hood? YES!".

I can understand questions about a new product, you have to make an informed decision when buying. Some of you, however, are attacking and being downright mean, IMHO. For some reason, I expected better conduct from the members of Corvetteforum. That and a little patience. This is a forum member trying to help us out and earn a little money in the process. :flag He may not have an R&D budget like holley, but allready he's put more effort into supplying the C4 community with a product we can use. I think some of you should be ashamed. It cetainly shames me to be part of this board when I read threads like this.

As a consumer, you have the right to ask questions about a product. You also have the right not to like the answers. And, not to forget, the right not to buy. As a human being, and a member of this community, you should have the decency not to attack someone, especially when you have so little information on which to do so.

Thankyou Grumpy for taking the initiative to provide us with a 3rd alternative intake. I wish you well in your buisness.

Disclaimer: I have never met Grumpy, I have no idea who he is, besides someone who posts great technical information on engine dynamics that I enjoy reading and give me a great place to start learning.

Edited for spelling and clarity

Well I don’t agree.

I asked in two threads for a explanation to a specific statement that was made by the seller and was ignored several times.

When an answer was given it was a cut and paste of irrelevant information and again I asked for a expiation.

Two times the thread was checked and my question not answered. Why? I don’t know but the babbling reply has me suspect. Not to mention the personal attack. Good luck if you buy one and have a problem. (Four thousand dollars in that box, give me a break. I would bet that is the cost of a production that he is here trying to sell.)

The vendor selling this item is not a supporting vendor of the forum and is in violation of the user agreement by advertising this production run.
