headers vs. alternator bracket

I'm planning to use Hooker 2151-1 headers. I notice the alternator bracket uses one of the exhaust studs for mounting. Do the Hooker headers have a stud or something to accomodate that? Or, am I looking at some "engineering"? :skep:

My shorties from Hooker had it set up so you can use your existing stud to also mount the bracket. No engineering required :hurray:

My exhaust guy had to do some "work" to get my 2151's to fit with the alt. bracket.

OK, so it sounds like I better measure what comes off and be prepared to do some cobbling-up temporarily if I have to. :smash:

definitely fab something. I ran without a rear bracket for about a year and then while tooling down the fwy.......clunk! No power steering, car got hot, volts went down. Alt case finally broke from the vibration. It chucked the belt.
